Italian sausage has a ton of flavor in it already so does the pepperoni! Grab your biggest saute pan and start with a little white onion and avocado oil and brown the sausage. Cut the pepperoni into matchsticks. Ya don’t need a whole lot of spices with these two amazing meats together!

All my jars had a handful or so left of castelvetrano olives, pepperoncini and artichoke hearts. Gave em a slice and a dice
Kale can be hard to digest, it’s a deeper ‘dark green leafy’ flavor too so this is a RAD blend to try it out! Whole30 EASY Italian Kale Sauté is basically kale buried in pizza toppings……….so even the most veggie averse will enjoy!
Strip the greens off the stem and tear in small pieces. To help break the leaves down massage it with your hands and some oil & salt for a minute or so. You’ll feel the texture change a bit.
Then top the mix with the kale, cover and cook. A little red pepper flakes and salty parm if your in the mood 🙂

Whole30 Supreme Italian Pizza Bake
Whole30 Italian Kale Saute
Whole30 Italian Kale Sauté made with sausage, onion, pepperoni, olives, pepperoncini, artichoke hearts and kale. It's a hearty delicious 30 minute meal!
Ingredients
- 2 Tbsp Avocado Oil
- 1 Lb Italian Sausage Casing removed
- 1 C Pepperoni Cut in matchsticks
- 1 Med White Onion Diced
- 1/2 C Castelvetrano Olives Halved
- 1/2 C Peperoncini Ribbons
- 1/2 C Artichoke Hearts Chopped
- 2 Bunches Kale Stemmed & Chopped
Instructions

In a large saute pan brown the sausage and onions in avocado oil on medium heat. 5-7 min

While cooking, chop up pepperoni, olives, pepperoncini and artichoke hearts. Add to the pan cook and stir occasionally another 5-7 minutes

While cooking, massage the kale in a bit of oil and salt for a minute or two. The oil will cover the leaves and the texture will become more broken down. Top the dish with the kale, cover with a lid and let set on med-low for 7-10 minutes until the kale is wilted down a bit yet still vibrant green

Stir completely, serve in bowls. Top with a touch more avocado oil some red pepper flakes and salty Parmesan if your in your food freedom 🙂
